Please help: redsn0w quit unexpectedly??

i trying jb iphone 3gs using redsn0w 0.9.10b4 , keep getting error. open redsn0w, select "jailbreak", put phone dfu mode , when gets point of "preparing jailbreak data" error says "redsn0w quit unexpectedly."

don't understand why happening jb phone last week using beta 3 (which tried today , gives me same error). in trying fix "no service" error unlocking, accidentally restored phone factory settings (because i'm newbie , didn't know how out of dfu mode , figured jb again.) right "no sim card installed" message on home screen, can't past because don't have sim activate phone. can please help?

1. can manually pick ipsw , should go through.

2. since have 3gs, can downgrade 4.1, hactivate redsn0w.
