so after googling , looking @ several post , forums seems me. lot of people having issues screens recently. blacks going either red or blue, flickering , acting up.
myself have issu external screen, , of course takes place when mac, @ log in screen there no issues.
before latest efi loaded in never had problem really, , work hours in gpu demanding software , still work great.
tried changing connection dvi hdmi, cables, , reset pram , smc. seems have issue less , less lower resolutions though, still.
goal thread if narrow down problem latest efi maybe informing apple it...
can confirm flickering happens when computer/graphics card gets warm. shut down cool off , flickering disappeared.
i have 2011 15" macbook pro 2.0ghz 8gb gskill ram , kingston hyperx ssd..... while did have issues on rare occasion lock mouse , keyboard still working has since stopped happening..... did once have issue webcam wasnt detecting reset smc , worked fine on... (only major issue have laptop is magnent dirt screen if filthy , keyboard dirty )
