Mac Mini stuttering with dual monitor setup ATD and 27" ACD

hi guys,

got lacie lbd , using second thunderbolt port on device, able daisy chain 27" acd 27" atd hooked mac mini (mid 2011, i5, 8gb ram, amd graphics model, upgraded 160gb intel 320 ssd). noticed when running setup, mini tends hiccup , stutter every , then, when moving stuff around between monitors, etc. wanted know if normal owing fact mini being taxed dual monitors. if not, wrong. notice these stutters (with occasional beach balls) when not doing much, couple of safari tabs open (no flash) few pdfs , couple of word documents running.
