is iMac 21.5 inch sufficient for HD Video Editing?

i think might have been asked many times in general, guess has unique situation.

trying videography. i've been doing photography/photoshop type of work on old laptop. placed order imac 21.5 inch, got refurb 1 $999.99 instead of waiting 2012 models. think $999.99 great price now.

wonder sufficient run 1080p video editing on premiere/final cut?

not trying advance graphics in after effects, basic clip cutting , putting pieces , make short clip video.

you should fine. render times might little bit longer though.
