iPad availability?

i've been reading stories abundant supply of ipad 3s, scalpers returning them en masse, etc., etc.

yet actual availability, particularly in apple stores? here in northern virginia none of popular models (i.e. 32gb wifi only) listed available @ apple stores in area, , phone call 1 of them confirms this.

- people seeing stock?

 

the best buy in area (dallas, tx) seems have pretty varied stock still.
