How to move Home Folder/Users in Lion?

guys, need please.

wife , share mac. has account. have mine.

right now, have 3 internal hd's. first boot drive , other 2 media drives.

store our documents on 2nd drive. unfortunately things messy has access docs , me hers.

right now, have separate folders each of our stuff.

there way on lion enable things work if storing our documents on boot drive, meaning see docs of account has been logged in to?

checked following link, method seems little risky lion

set permissions same contents of documents folder in home directory.

each user, if permissions 700, not have access see documents.

if have 2 users own folders, e.g. bob , jim, following:

cd /volumes/<shared drive name>
chmod 700 ./bob
chmod 700 ./jim

if bob logged in, not have permission see contents of jim's folder.
