Do I need 3rd party for unzipping?

i've been able open zips no problem on mac, today message 'error 1 operation not permitted'.

why ok, not now?

unarchiver seems getting more pluses stufit on app store

why need either if mac unzips...

 

does problem still occur after restarting?

if you're not using other compression formats .zip there's no need 3rd party app.
