ATI 5770 and Lion - any issues on a 2008 Mac Pro?

okay, i'm ready upgrade lion. major bugs appear have been resolved latest update (10.7.3?), have 1 concern:

i've upgraded 3,1 mac pro (early 2008 model) apple compatible ati 5770 graphic card, works fine in sl 10.6.8, has experienced issues card in lion? ask because though card purchased apple store, it's not officially supported model, iirc.

assume lion includes proper drivers card, that's assumption, if using 5770 on particular computer , running lion, i'd know before leap on lion's back.

after original 8800gt died last summer i've replaced ati 5770 on mac pro 2008 (quadcore version).

no problems whatsoever under lion though it's not officially supported.
