Apple TV and 2.4 ghz

i have 2nd gen tv connected airport extreme router via ethernet cable (they're right next each other on shelf).

airport extreme sending out both 2.4ghz , 5ghz signals via wi-fi. ipad connects , able screen mirroring tv perfectly, iphone 4s cannot screen mirror tv. can airplay songs fine, not screen mirror. figuring ipad connects tv via 5ghz, , iphone via 2.4ghz (iphone doesnt have capability connect via 5ghz)

question - there way limit tv connect 2.4 ghz via lan opposed connecting via wifi?

your above setup should work - what's doing when turn on mirroring on phone?

know have swipe right until seen screen similiar this, it's 1 screen past play/ fast forward buttons:
