1080p video on 3rd Gen iPad

anyone 1080p itunes purchased content on new ipad?

here i've tried:

first used itunes on mac manually manage videos turned on sync tv episode has 1080p version. synced down 720p version. tell size of video ended on device.

second tried downloading using itunes app on ipad re-download tv show itunes. still downloads 720p version though shows 1080p under tv show. once again size of video gives away.

third tried deleting 720p , sd versions of tv episode in finder , attempted drop 1080p version of tv show , itunes not allow dropping on connected ipad sync.
