1)from read in several forums, when use subler's optimize function, not effect sound quality sound comes out of say, hb, seems makes sure of order of flags or atoms, , interleaving may speed reading of sound track ????
2) when encode hb or mdrp, surround track present unchecked if doesnt count. when play .mv4 file on atv seems ok. pretty familiar different mix down combinations , read results mediainfo show 2 channel acc track , 6 ch ac track in detail, know there. happens checking unchecked surround track in subler??
3)i abilities of subler painlessly , ad art, have confess basic user. read adding/importing tracks, doesnt seem have need that????
sorry long windiness of these questions. finding exact answers have proven difficult. have mac system, great speakers , decent modern receiver optical , hdmi inputs. put movies on ipad , use air play watch movies. input helpful. in advance.
hi! i'll try answer questions forgive if english isn't perfect.
a important thing in structur of each mp4 file place of "moov" atom. contains information tracks inside container. streaming purposes importand atom placed @ beginning of mp4 file decoder understands how has interpret tracks. if that's not case may happen video not play untill decoder has loaded other tracks untill reaches "moov" atom. if you're file few gb big , atom @ end of file you'd have wait long play. when create mp4 file in subler places atom @ end of file , should use "optimize" function after saving it. way function equivalent "web optimized" of handbrake.
not sure think players, exept itunes , apple tv, play tracks enabled/checked in mp4 file. itunes play audio track of prefered language example , quicktime playr or vlc (maybe) play you've enabled. found out if check 2 audio tracks (different languages) , open file quicktime player plays both @ same time.
imagine don't want use handbrake encode dts tracks ac3 , aac. extract dts track , create ac3 , aac stereo tracks whatever encoder , add them after mp4 file subler. don't know else say, can add chapter titles , subtitles, too.
