non mac laptop for short money

hi, curious non mac laptop give go short money.

going on few trips in near future, , don't want bring 13" air, great. chances of getting bit banged high.

looking small 10" or 11" , key battery life.

or ipad2 have best battery life out there, may option,

 

samsung netbooks pretty sleek. friend isn't computers has one, cost £200. windows, keep clean, friends riddled crap , slow now. if know doing see no reason why couldn't enjoy it.
