"Loading assets"?

since installing , using imovie 11, endless spinning wheel in aperture 3 "loading assets". overnight, there no assets loaded, whatever are. stops when cancel activity, step take , starts again whenever turn on aperture. thanks.

nobody has had problem , fixed it? can't import photo camera, doesn't open it. sure use expert person.
