i'm hoping have quick info on apple tv 2. basically, i'm trawling through ebay 1 i'm looking jailbreak , install xbmc because it's not quite ready ios5 , jailbreak tethered currently.
i've spotted unopened apple tv 2 on ebay. did come shipped ios5? device bought around january of year.
it's ridiculous jailbraked devices on ebay @ extortionate price.

plug in 2 meter hdmi cable , go system perferences go displays , check resolution settings. have sony tv monitor 1080p best setting me. in case 1920 1080 may choice. guessing grainy picture means set on 800 600 or other low resolution

last month, reported on u.s. mac sales data month of january shared piper jaffray analyst gene munster, concluded npd's calculated year-over-year growth of 1% soft perhaps not out of line expectations given firm's historical understatement of apple's growth. measuring u.s. sales, npd's data not account apple's strong growth in international markets, , munster notes last quarter apple's mac sales outpaced npd projections 14 percentage points.
in new report out today, munster shares data february, npd seeing mac sales 4% year-over-year. performance better january's 1% number, still suggests consumers holding on purchases await updated mac models. munster's adjustment of 14 percentage points, apple's total mac sales quarter exhibiting year-over-year growth of 18%, below 20% growth expected wall street analysts entire quarter , not enough make january's slow start.
nevertheless, munster believes data puts apple in position meet overall expectations sales of 4.4-4.6 million macs quarter.whether or not apple's mac sales numbers march quarter meet expectations may depend on whether company can squeeze out product updates, such new mac pro, before end of month. wait intel's ivy bridge platform may, however, keep updated models of apple's products on sidelines until next quarter. development leave slight shortfall on mac side during quarter, although pent-up demand lead blockbuster june quarter company in scenario.
aside macs, piper jaffray continues see strong iphone sales during current quarter, above wall street consensus, while ipod sales remain in-line expectations product family continues decline. on ipad side, munster believes strong sales of new ipad may drive upside apple, projecting first-day sales of @ least 1 million units. munster's projections on launch day sales of new apple products have, however, been less accurate when apple has released such numbers.

in september, reported on leaked document cable , internet provider comcast revealing details on company's forthcoming "anyplay" live television streaming service. while comcast not first cable provider bring such product market, largest cable , internet provider in united states.
comcast today announced has begun rolling anyplay service out customers, beginning xfinity hd triple play customers in denver , nashville. more markets added in coming months, service launching ipad joined in future motorola xoom.the anyplay service accessed via company's existing xfinity tv app ipad, offers thousands of hours of on demand movies , tv shows available viewing both inside , outside of home.

so many of know have been getting steady flow of cases , shells new ipad review. (and don't know how missed one) found out case called "the ridge" devicewear.
had devicewear case (the detour 360) on ipad 2 , had positive things after hearing case had high hopes. ordered ridge case amazon link
i've got case , happy has exceeded expectations!
here initial thoughts (video review possibly on channel on weekend).
- have been waiting on speck magfolio , case better because when in stand mode covers of ipad.
- magnets work supposed to. lid stays closed via magnets , works well. extreme shifting of lid in book mode able trigger sleep mode. not concerned because again happens extreme movement not in every day use (i demo in video).
- vegan leather nice, feel minimal fingerprinting.
- ridge feature of case works extremely , gives 3 4 different angles (typing , viewing) great stability.
- if flip lid around can yet typing angle , part of case touches table exterior not interior material touches screen, news.
- polycarbonate shell clips in on sides of ipad not corners, suspect prevent cracking in corners of case on time opinion.
- it's pretty light , not add ton of bulk
- case under $35! me it's great deal considering other cases of type can run $45 $50.
