Hard Drive Space Dramatically Changing w/ No Activity

i got message today while on computer saying "your disk full". surprised see such low space (75mb). deleted bunch of gigs of movies etc, apps...

since then, counter keeps changing dramatically, without activity. 15gb free, 2 min later 6gb free, etc. goes low mb.

tried install version of photoshop cs5 friend other day crack, , didn't work. deleted photoshop, wondering if has it.

have mail program? noticed using omnisweeper have 50gb of mail saved on computer, , perhaps using mail program causing this?

thoughts/tips/solutions?

lots of things. start off restarting , see if changes anyting may sort of abnormal high virtual ram usage.

try setting mail not store attachments on mac if taking big amount!
