Airdrop declined by mac air

hey guys, have bought new macbook air.
have mac mini i'm selling, wanted send few things on wifi mac air.

have airdrop open on both macs, seeing each other fine. when tried dragging photos on said mac air declined. although nothing popped on air accept?

there maximum transfer limit size?

looks 4gb limit.
