ok have mbp core 2-duo, 500 gb of hard drive space, , 4gb of ram, running lion. froze, , after froze in safe mode, had force shut down. crashed , won't boot up. recovery hd says internal hard drive "macintosh hd" not mounted. believe have re-install lion, first need mount macintosh hd.
won't start (the apple loading screen turns circle line through it), have boot recovery hd (holding down option while booting). disk utility says ok, not mounted, , won't mount.
not want loose files on computer, haven't backed in while , loose important info.
there anyway mount internal hard drive can re-install lion , save computer? or have wipe , reformat mac?
please help!
there may hardware failure in machine. may hard drive, or hard drive cable. may want contact apple support center problem.
