Just bought thunderbolt monitor and wireless keyboard

purchased both macbook pro 2011. wondering best way set without having flip macbook open every time use it. part want leave closed when in use. can turn computer on display or keyboard or leave hibernate. additional software need? thanks!

you can wake computer sleep keyboard or mouse. make sure wake bluetooth setting on.
