hello given don't know release dates or exact specs on new mbp , imac 2012 or release dates....

can wait 2 more weeks or if it's worth it. video editing , travel film. use roommates-travel partners macbook 2010 on road.
question is...
1. how imac27 in 2011 worth when new ones come out.
2. should macbook pro 2012 or 2011 imac until new desktops come out?
3. macbook pro 2012 2000$ better standard 2011 imac quad 1600, 1450 referbished?
