MacBook Pro 17" + Thunderbolt Display -- No dice.

i've had thunderbolt display around day.

when plugged in, working fine , expected, @ night, put sleep , that.

in morning, woke macbook, , nothing tb display. updated latest version of lion, , tried download tb firmware update, when attempted install it, computer told me did not need to. fine, thought.

plugged in, same again, nothing.

has display died after less 24 hours?

edit: should add charging cable of monitor working - nothing else.

 

unplug monitor wall , plug in. doesn't go sleep. doesn't know how wake up. tis bug... don't let hd go sleep , let monitor shut down , comes ok long mac doesn't go sleep.
