Deleted 22 GB of Files w/o freeing up space

hi there,

have macbook pro quad i7 128 gb ssd. running storage problems, deleted wow folder (22 gb) applications folder , emptied trash. however, free hd space still shows 5 gb of free space, after reboot. trash empty , wow folder gone.

happening here?

 

to find out, hard drive capacity being used, can use following free applications:

• diskinventory x
• omnidisksweeper
• jdisk report
• grandperspective

maybe try combination of several, if still can't find "missing" capacity.

what "other" in storage tab? eating space? theseb
