Macbook 2009 not turning on

got buddies macbook 2009(white unibody, late 2009 model), have attempted many of different solutions online on. awkward thing situation when plug correct magsafe charger macbook goes green orange indicate charging. no matter have tried turn on not react @ me pressing power button, doing smc reset.
seeing if here has ideas chime in with.

correct me if i'm wrong, sounds me it's fault battery. have tried removing internal battery, see if boot magsafe charger attached. method worked on 09 unibody macbook had recently.
