Will you get AppleCare+ for new iPad?

will apple replace ipad brand new ipad or refurbished one, if accidentally break it?

think "break even"/"worth it" point applecare+? example, if 16gb wifi model, applecare+ 20% ($99/$499), whereas on 64gb 4g it's 12% ($99/$829). perhaps feel @ 12% apple's extended warranty isn't worth it.

forego protective case , perhaps go smart cover if applecare+?
