Ubuntu doesn't like Lion External Permissions!


tell me i'm doing wrong.. i'm out of ideas :(

step 1:
backed fat32 external onto ubuntu 11.10

step 2:
formatted fat32 external extended (journaled) on lion 10.7.3

step 3:
found out hfs+ doesn't work on ubuntu 11.10

step 4:
opened "disk utility", held "option" key while clicking "file" menu enable "disable journaling" option.

step 5:
hooked extended format external ubuntu 11.10 , works!

step 6:
restored of files ubuntu 11.10 onto extended format external , going well.

step 7:
plugged extended format external macbook pro , there's red no entry looking icon on every folder inside external!

step 8:
selected external, pressed "command+i" bring information. in "sharing & permissions" section selected lock icon in bottom right, typed in password, , selected check box "ignore ownership on volume"

step 9:
have access of files of them have little lock icon on them , can't delete of lock icon files. tells me need type in password delete them, , nothing happens.

step 10:
here out of ideas i'm asking advice on situation have here. else there can can delete old files sort through them on external?!
