a major product release 3 days away, yet, confusion abounds regard data plans at&t , verizon offering.
example:
@ apple's online store site, see information on available data plans new ipad:
![[img]](proxy.php?image=http%3a%2f%2fwww.thephotobooth.net%2fphotos%2fi-vgrw5lz%2f0%2fxl%2fi-vgrw5lz-xl.jpg&hash=2a741cbe80704141ba6f7ee5b948b028)
shows verizon offering 1gb worth of data $20. since expect data needs fall somewhere between 250mb , 1gb, plan me.
however, if go verizon's new ipad site @ link:
http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/splash/ipad.jsp#howmuchdata
, click "view data plans", get:
![[img]](proxy.php?image=http%3a%2f%2fwww.thephotobooth.net%2fphotos%2fi-t8tcpxv%2f0%2fo%2fi-t8tcpxv.jpg&hash=2a5922637712d81dd341b8857e84c92c)
says "the new ipad" there's no trace of 1gb $20 option. yet, i'm supposedly viewing "all data plans".
how hell consumer supposed make decision if consumer doesn't have of necessary information or if information contradictory?
i've spoken 3 different verizon reps , received 3 different answers. own employees don't know hell going on.
, on other side of fence, at&t reps talked yesterday (to ask mobile hotspot feature of new ipad) didn't know new ipad had been announced!
easy want blame reps being dolts, reality it's superiors blithering idiots. should have provided accurate information customer service reps days ago. leadership , management of these wireless companies vastly inferior experience apple, it's embarrassment apple ever has sign contract these morons.
please apple, spend $100 billion create own wireless company!!
mark
