i had frustrating experience last night. been mac user 5 years...always had ilife. bought new macbook pro month ago replace older one. son had project had make short video. be such easy task. take video iphone 4s, edit imovie, burn dvd (required school) idvd had done many times before.
...the new macbook pro did not come idvd installed!! damn..i'll grab off app store project due in morning (it 8:30pm)..it not on app store? can't believe tha apple no longer has idvd part of ilife..or anyway it? had spend next 2 hours looking suitable 3rd party program..ranging $40 $100 (free ones find did not work lion) have been able macbook pro ilife. sure..i can understand not installing idvd macbook air...but people buy macbook pro's need drive (or power).
anyway..what should been easy project turned nightmare.
apple...time reconsider fanboy status.
it included boxed version of ilife in apple retail stores. not sure how makes sense... there is.
