Don't know if it's the charger or the battery!

i have 2010 macbook , not charge. don't think it's charger have macbook pro , charger works fine in it. red light not come on or show top it's charging. help!

 

did try cleaning charging port on mb? q-tip , rubbing alcohol , clean crust off.
