16gb upgrade yes or no?

love upgrade 16gb ram on beautiful imac, saw prices on apple , fainted

questions two:

1) if upgraded 16 gb, worth in opinion?

2) if bought compatible ram, such corsair one, did have trouble?

the ram in imac bellow screen. it's easy replace buy ram form third party , yourself. "apple tax" on ram out of control.
