Macbook battery?

hello everybody.

i'm proud macbook (5,1 aluminum) owner, , first device apple world. i've had little on 2 years , past fews days i've noticed battery life speeding down faster.

coconut reads (3822 mah) current capacity , design capacity reads @ (4100 mah). macbook in great shape, no scratches, no dents, or other physical damage whatsoever. battery life has come down little though, since before 4 hours in total same lighting specs. can clock in maybe 2:30 hours of use high backlight , high keyboard light.

i'm interested in purchasing ssd macbook , hd optibay current hd maybe squeeze little more life out of computer , buy new battery renew whole thing.

want know few things guys, newer macbook models make of difference in speed, etc. compared computer model? worth upgrade?

selling machine , paying difference newer one. how 1 of these?

regards.

it normal if battery health (maximum capacity) less 100% when new or if fluctuates or down on time. further details, read checking status , health section of following link.
there many factors impact battery life. see battery life charge section of following link details, including tips on how maximize battery life.

should answer most, if not all, of battery questions:
at 93% health, don't need new battery. there things can more performance , better battery life current mac.
