Help with airport extreme (5 generation)

i need help...

i'm trying conncect internet , imac doesn't seem recognice it?

i've read instructions , believe did right acoording guide...but when want imac recognice , use internet wirelessly doesn't work.

also, did 3 passwords asked me create (base password, wireless password and...disk password?)

guest didn't create password...but thought if "uncheck it" (or trying leave off) other people won't able use wireless...but when tried netbook search wireless connection wireless shows , can surf internet...?

, airport extreme never lid in green...it "flashing amber"

believe did update on airport utility i'm not sure since i'm confuse trying figure out how make computer recognize , how keep wireless private not other people can use it.

i'm new wireless internet connection o_o

can please me how start airport extreme right?

 

first off, need more precise , clear in presentation of going on... "hurts" trying read post, if english second language apologize fact remains.

state created 3 passwords , in next sentence stated "guess didn't." it? if have no password setup can freely access wifi.

on imac, wifi turned on? on imac, can see other wifi ap, not yours? if aebs flashing amber, means there there at, i.e. firmware update, double-nat'ing, dns error, etc... have identify issue resolve amber light.

if want keep wifi hidden, select "create closed network" option under airport > wireless > wireless network options. not able search wifi @ point in time, have manually join wifi, i.e. entering name created wifi network.

wifi settings, mode running in? how far away imac aebs, can netbook access wifi right beside imac?
