Mac Plus screen repair

hi all,

same attic contained powerbook duo contains mac plus.

computer has been in attic 10 years, can hear booting, screen dead.

has external hard disk missing mouse.

how screen problem easy fix replacing fuse or something? don't have skill make complex fix myself, , don't want spend lot of money on it.

if machine attempts boot , screen entirely dark, there 2 possibilities:

1. brightness control under front edge turned way down, or

2. dry , cracked solder joint on video & power connector approximately in center of "power/sweep" or "analog board".

give machine thump on left side (when viewed front) whilst it's running , see if picture intermittently flashes up. if does, simple re-soldering job.
