How to cycle through pictures in Finder?

i want image folders in icon view , able view pics , cycle through them in same order sorted in finder.
basic image viewing essentially.

switched os x , realised there no way achieve this, i'm guessing there workflow differences @ play.

i've tried usual things:

1. quick not cycle through images (pressing right arrow - next works till end of "line", 4-5 images tops in icon view).

2. quick + tab key not either, since while cycle way through, in alphabetical order.

3. coverflow. ugh

4. list view + quick + down arrow works lose icon previews, kinda pointless image files.

on os x using other method? iphoto?

 

if select before activate quick can scroll through photos in folder, or can open photos in folder preview.
