New SSD in MBP

have mbp (5,5) has owc mercury extreme pro ssd drive.

im going install lion want buy new drive that, , keep existing drive backup until know well, , put in wifes mb

ive been looking @ owc website , can see electra model. comparable in speed existing 1 ? downsides of drive on have ? im happy drive have

we have same computer... , turns out, ours don't support sata iii drives, if have 6g extreme pro, won't seem faster substantially cheaper 3g extreme pro (even though is). if want confirm this, open system profiler (via mac>more info) , click serial-ata. should "3 gigabit" link , negotiated link speeds. if it's higher this, must have mistyped model number, , can indeed use sata iii drives. now, then...
electra in middle in terms of both speed , price, again, there's no point in getting vs. 3g (see above 'disclaimer').
