MacBook has no serial number?

hi,

today in apple store , found out macbook has no serial number. bought 100 euro's , installed ssd (vertex 3) , new black topcase. wanted go black bezel @ apple store. makes black (on inside) white macbook. pretty awesome looking.

little fun project.

anyway, see picture mean. did not know either.

take apple. can reset serial number. if first person talked didn't know this, talk else. happens during repairs, it's fixable.
