Price Advice 2008 MBP pricing advice

since getting 27in imac in november 2008 mbp has not had love, barely use compared imac , ipad combo.

i'm thinking of selling , maybe getting mba later year.

mac2sell prices computer @ $700, sounds high me. specs are:

- 2008 macbook pro (non-unibody)
- c2d 2,4 ghz cpu
- 4gb ram
- 640gb hd
- 15" matte screen
- no cosmetic damage.
- new battery few months go (has <20 cycles on it)
- leopard/sl discs (lion installed)

guys reckon?

 

sold mine in october...

... $800. had been upgraded 6 gb of ram (which supported model, if apple doesn't so), 750 gb scorpio black (7200 rpm), plus had new logic board , reasonably healthy battery. remember, model flaky gpu, able been replaced. cosmetic condition good, not excellent/perfect.

given time elapsed , lower specs, $700 might high. again, still capable machine regular use, , hold value.

perspective might helpful.
