Guest icon fails to appear on login screen

hi,

although i’ve enabled guest account, guest icon doesn’t appear in login screen.

used displayed, believe had checked "disable restarting safari when screen locked" option under security & privacy (to prevent guest icon appearing on login screen), , disabled guest account under "users & groups".

seems now, although i’ve enabled guest account, guest icon still doesn’t show , "disable restarting safari when screen locked" option has disappeared "security & privacy" screen.

thoughts?

what show in system preferences > accounts > login options? make sure automatic login disabled, , "display login window as:" shows "list of users".
