How to delete ALL data and restore to factory settings?

i've tried cmd r , erased after reinstall files still there.

i've searched here , on apple forums , can't find solution.

first problem have , reason want reinstall lion have 70gb of data on 256 ssd, shows has 230gb of data used.

shows called 'other' occupying 160gb of space, have no idea 'other' is, not time machine or anything.

tried reinstalling lion data/apps werent deleted ... want delete files , reinstall lion.

 

if you're going reinstall lion, can format drive when installation process begins.
