Best solution for running dual monitors on MBP?

now it's 2012, want find recent / best / relevant information can.

purchasing brand new 13" macbook pro (yes know there may refreshes - don't care).

must have 2 external displays. looking @ 22" or 24" monitors (i buying 2 of same monitor @ same time, haven't decided on brand/make purchase yet)

matrox dualhead2go best choice performance , quality? money isn't issue, don't want spend more needed.

are sure integrated gpu , handle output 2 monitors (three if mbp open)? asked because when hooked monitor mbp (15"), monitor shut off if switched integrated gpu.
