Converting Audio on 500+ MP4s (Movies)

hi all,
i've been searching while , cannot find solution predicament, hoping experts on forum can provide me advice.

i've converted movie library mp4/m4v use appletv2, realized aac 6 channels not give me dolby digital on receiver (i pro logic). apparently need ac3 - 6 channels , aac 2 channel dolby digital. tried using mp4 tools getting lot of errors (its registered version).

ideas on software (mac or pc) can me without re-encoding video (batch encoding required).

 

sorry post not clear, format did convert audio to?
