i bought turtle beach audio advantage micro ii usb dongle mac. audio output port on macbook pro seems damaged, plugs sit loosely in port can cause audio drop out if cable jiggled wrong way. has gotten rather irritating. bought usb dongle provide new audio out jack. thing is, particular dongle seems output audio @ high volume levels. if turn both system sound , itunes' sound way down, can achieve comfortable listening levels headphones, above loud.
there utilities out there (either download or on mac) use drop down volume output of usb dongle bit?
advice appreciated.
