Help needed restoring Address Book

i traveling uk , got cheap android phone there. tried sync address book gmail created multiple duplicates. deleted entries , imported address (i exported before did anything) put info in notes section. tried time machine , opened address book , used time machine restore doesn't anything. looked online says data located in "username/library/addressbook/addressbook.data" not there in lion. appreciated.
