i have iphone 3gs got through att upgrade. after 6 weeks has gotten sick. first there no service calls, started cycling on , off every few minutes. went att , changed "failed" sim card , 6 hours - until again had no phone service. called att , said hardware issue , visit local apple store.
backed phone on itunes, went apple store today , told me software issue. "genius" told me "no problem, can fix it", , proceeded wipe phone clean - nothing on it, including contacts. talked told me there might issue data on back-up, , should manually add of data rather back-up synch. wth?
have happen, , did do? have no desire spend hours researching , manually adding contacts phone.

well, working now? if so... right. if not, well, should getting new phone. stuff contacts, google now. way it's not backup of phone have in itunes.
