Airport Extreme attached disk format


hi, after bit of searching , reading, i'm forced check understanding file format post (sorry)

i've 2 old windows (xp home) machines @ home plus lion mbp.

i've picked iomega mini max 2tb drive (it comes formatted hsf+ according instructions).
i'm planning attached hdd airport extreme , move 60gb of pictures desktop xp machine it's hard drive getting full (i'll portable hdd before removing pc have duplicate copy).

premise i'll accessing drive through network windows laptop, desktop , mbp

plan replace desktop xp machine imac in future.

should reformat drive fat32 work machines , in future or accessing through airport extreme enable me more clever?

(i mbp portable hdd , not change procedure until imac arrives adding time capsule network @ point.)

 

your problem non-problem :) if connect aebs able read , write windows computers, despite file system being is.
