Wanted to share this Alarm program as it was in action today

hey all, not trying "promote" program but...

wanted share free alarm program ialertu prevented theft today me. activated motion sensor macbook.

know should never leave laptops , valuables unattended there occasions have abruptly leave washroom, phone call or leave few seconds.

arm/disarm use remote button or if don't have remote, arm click on desktop arm , disarm type in password on keyboard. can set "force maximum sound" automatically sound loud can if computer on mute before or @ minimum volume. takes picture right away before thief can close lid , send email.

remember set password in preferences panel.

today @ library , had go washroom go often. left program on , when came washroom there huge crowd alarm ringing @ maximum volume. guy @ table trying put in bag while thing ringing , drew huge crowd , people sitting nearby recognized not owner cornered him until came back.

great little application!

 

good know, wouldn't holding power button shut mac off shut alarm off?
