Buying grandfathered unlimited data plan/sim

so i'm buying at&t grandfathered unlimited data plan/sim guy tomorrow , gonna transfer name , information tomorrow when meet him. before have couple questions:

1. understanding go att.com/ipadlanding , login using account information , edit information information (login, password, , credit card information,imei, iccid). correct?

2. bill sent mail or electronic (sent email)?

3. can step 1 done straight ipad alone?

 

i don't believe can transfer "grandfathered unlimited plan" person. it's not reliant sim account itself.
