What would be waking my externals up all the time?

all energy settings default lion, shipped.

if let mini go sleep on own - every hear external hard drives "wake up" (fw400 drives, 1 book, 1 seagate - & think happening more mybook). since computer in room, , have sick kids waking night - hear them often. *seems* when on ipad. but, i'm not coherent enough in middle of night sort out

if go , select "sleep" apple menu, doesn't happen.

network wifi, have airport in here extending timecapsule. don't think "wake on lan" got enabled anywhere. run regular account myself master admin account.

it's not end of world - annoying , mbp same drives didn't it.

 

time machine backups spin sleeping machine. default every hour.
