hi all,
i'm new macrumors , have situation has me spinning wheels.
i've searched forums particular scenario no luck(not saying its' not here somewhere).
have 2 external wd hdds(ntfs) both worked fine until recently. haven't done out of ordinary using macbook pro(snow leopard 2010), did find out took upon "repair disk permissions" when trying "repair disk" disk utility while using b/c said case running hot(even though had lot of stuff along watching videos , transferring data)
. never less, can not write external hdd's anymore, read-only. had macfuse , ntfs-3g installed when took place.
did uninstall them both , installed osxfuse(macfuse successor) , ntfs-3g again no luck writing either 1 of them or 1 of interloper's drives decided me out.
or point in right direction appreciated use hdd's windows laptops , rather not have go out , hdd these 2 , reformat them.
thanks
glad no 1 wasted time on question. figured out , wasn't issue found on site. thanks.
