[DIY] 20min Mac Mini Bracket

hi,

in country found 2 resellers sell mac mini bracket mount under desk, cost fortune (80 usd). saw on amazon, charge because switzerland not in eu.
anyway figured build own. after sketching ideas, went metal retailers , didn't sell wanted, decided go hardware store , let creativity go.

had different options, wasn't planning on drilling hole, want mount on under desk double sided tape have @ home.

ended buying:
2x l-shaped metal piece 200x40 mm / 1.50 usd each
2x l-shaped metal piece 40x40 mm / 80 cents each
wanted u-shaped 1 didn't have it, , if have had longer 280x40 have bend it, 200x40 longest had.
screws , bolts had @ home, used m4x20 ( shorter m4x10)
long l-shaped metal piece, got use work free, i'm guessing cost 8 usd. (800x6x3.5)


measured off 2x 220mm pieces , took saw...somebody gonna pissed when see did garden chairs.

next thing i'm going ensemble mac mini gonna "stand" on.



put tape around it, don't scratch mac when put in etc. said screws long, have sawed them off, i'm not going see under desk...



how looks finished, after 10 -15 min of work. know doesn't great or professional, cool thing if ever need add new stuff instance external drive, can add on this. l-shaped thingy , add on, or put on top, lego build set.

forgot add tape, , expensive part of all, of course have drilled hole have been cheaper, can't drill in desk.

hope enjoyed diy , not nicest way, fast , cheap.
in future might add bracket it, can put external hard drive on there too.
