Processor Confusion

i have g4 (gigabit) original, dual450 processor, emac single 800 , g4 given free (still gigabit) single 1ghz. of them have 512mb of ram installed. how come dual 450 way faster in general others? in mind 1ghz 1 should rule, yet laggy , slow.


sorry if bad question.

 

because 450 has 2 processors, rather one.
