ok got ipad3 , have 2 third party cases smart cover support work 100% fine on ipad on ipad3 fail register on , off.
in fact took magnet , used on case right below volume buttons , worked flawlessly on , off , menu choice showed in settings.
has else noticed or did dud??
marware microshell folio not work either. specific ipad 3 mfgr missed here.
